Community Outreach

Visual Art Institute (VAI) is committed to high-quality art learning experiences to students of ALL ages, schools, and communities through community art education programs.

Visual Art Institute’s community outreach program includes working with Title-I middle schools and high schools along the Wasatch Front by providing two-day intensive figure academy sessions taught by VAI’s Art Director and Associate Art Director. 

We provide therapeutic art activities for children undergoing medical treatment, teenagers, seniors with disabilities, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and individuals needing wellness therapy.

Some of the local organizations we have partnered and partner with include:

Draw Inc., Canyons School District, Eva Carlston Academy, Granite School District, Salt Lake School District, Jordan School District, Neighborhood House Adult Day-Care, Rape Recovery Center, Ronald McDonald House SLC, and the INN Between.
