Instructor
Lyra Zoe was raised in Salt Lake City Utah and continues to create and sell art locally. She received a Bachelors of Fine Art with an emphasis in Sculpture and Painting from the University of Utah in 2013. While attending the U of U Lyra received the Carmen M. Christensen Art Scholarship. She has been working as a full time artist featuring her work in local street fairs, festivals, and markets since 2018. Though Lyra's works are ever changing the most recent focus has been in miniature watercolor works with an illustrative flair. The majority of her current work is created with watercolor and ink, however she also enjoys creating small sculptures, jewelry, and wearable art pieces. Lyra now teaches community outreach and illustration classes for the Visual Art Institute in Salt Lake City. Keep your eyes out as you will find her works at many local events and shops throughout the city.
