Ellesse B.

Ellesse was a long time student at the Visual Art Institute, and was the 2005 Visual Arts Sterling Scholar winner, entering from Skyline High. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature at the University of Utah, following with a Master of Education in Instructional Design, also at the U of U. When asked about her time studying at VAI, she said:

“One of the most transformative experiences I’ve ever had, and I really owe almost everything in my life, and where I am now as far as where I am in my creative career, to Bruce and the Visual Art Institute.”

Ellesse has worked in journalism, art direction, film, and education. She believes that it is extremely important, as well as fulfilling, to give back to the next generation of leaders. She has worked as an independent design consultant and is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Declarative (declarative.co). Ellesse currently lives in Salt Lake City.
