He has an extensive background in anatomy/biology, engineering, conceptual art, architectural design & illustration, product design, drafting, robotic aesthetics and kinetics, ergonomics, and more. He has been teaching and instructing art in various mediums for over 20 years, privately as well as with local studios, school districts (K-college), and occasionally shows at galleries and art shows. He has developed unique sketching and drawing courses, designed to strengthen upcoming artists skillsets and confidence to ensure they develop a healthy foundation and passion for art.
Chris has traveled and lived many places around the world, but left his heart in Florence, Italy! As a surfer, scuba diver, and former Navy sailor, he loves anything aquatic or nautical and can often be spotted at the aquarium sketching when he's not out kayaking, hiking, or playing tennis.
